The first MedTalk finally happened! We would like to thank everyone who stopped by, supported us, and participated in the interesting conversations. Quite a nervousness was present amongst the HSC-Team-Members before the event but we could not be happier with the outcome, thanks to the hard work of the team members and the health science club community.

We would like to express our thanks to our two speakers, the co-founder, and ex-CEO Willi Miesch and Daniel Herren, the chief of hand surgery at the Schulthess Klinik, who is also a member of the board at Medartis.

Together they gave us meaningful insights into both the development and key factors of founding a start-up, as well as how the health sciences play a role within the MedTech-Industry. In particular, they opened up about their personal development and important learnings over the course of their career.
